We've had a great discussion on the most admired BC winemaker which I have to agree with all that have been put forth, especially James Cambridge since he and I worked together and I got to see first hand his level of knowledge and professionalism.
We all read wine related articles, some are good, some are not. Brings me to ask... who is the most admired wine writer? Not because they get paid the most for writing about wine, but the best articles, deepest knowledge and love and passion? This includes passionate video wine guys too like Mike Nierychlo who is a fantastic wine reviewer in my opinion.

You already mentioned my two favorites of this year, Mike Nierychlo and Luke Whitall. Luke was one of the first guys I met when getting into this great wine industry and I always love watching the videos he produces. A great passion for BC wines.*blush* Awe, you guys....
As far as BC wine writers, there is only one high and mighty for me. He has followed the industry from the bad old days of BC wine with his first book published in the early 80's and continues to do so today with more books and articles. And there is a 3-part interview with John Schreiner available here.
