So, I'm not sure how many of you had the chance to tune into CBC radio this morning. The news show "The Current" did a piece on the antiquated law from 1928 regarding the illigality of shipping or transporting of wine or spirits from one province to another. Very well covered and interesting. So if you heard it what are your views?

http://www.winelaw.ca/cms/  This is a great site all about wine laws
I can't see the benefit of restricting trade within our own country...to me it's as simple as that. No?
Relatively few provinces have a wine industry like BC, they should be able to buy our wines I think.Maybe the VQA could do something to get the ball rolling on that.

I can't see any benefits to trade restriction, either. That said, this is Canada, and more specifically, the Okanagan Valley. Strange nonsensical things are routine.

Another great article written on the outdated wine laws.
