Hi Jeannette,
Thanks for the friend request! This site is a great place for developing a strong network of wine connections. It would be great to meet up for a glass sometime. Let me know when you are in the Kelowna area. I need to get out more often too. Hopefully I will make some time to get down south before the busy busy summer!
Cheers,
Allison

I've been meaning to check out both places for some time. Thanks for the tip! I think Pinot has a very bright future in BC... leave Cab. Sauv. for Napa!

My one gripe with BC Pinot Noir is the price. I've found most Pinots under $20 might as well be Koolaid or they are made in some style that completely misses the point of Pinot (aka Shiraz impostor.) I have found one Pinot under $20 that impresses though... Peller Estates Private Reserve. I know... Peller? But the 2007 won the Lieut. award last year and I was shocked by it's old world earthiness and food friendliness for the price. Check it out if you can find a bottle.

Do tell. I have been known to swoon over a BC Pinot now and then.
